San Jose Showroom

Sit in it before you buy it.

A massage chair is the rare purchase you should never make from a photograph. Our Silicon Valley showroom keeps 11 chairs on the floor from 5 brands, plugged in and ready, so you can feel the difference instead of reading about it.

How long

30 to 60 minutes

Long enough to try a full program on more than one chair.

What a visit looks like

Four steps, no sales script.

01

Tell us how your body feels

Where it aches, how tall you are, whether you sleep badly. Two minutes of this saves you from sitting in twenty wrong chairs.

02

Sit in the shortlist

A specialist narrows the floor down to three or four chairs that actually suit you, then leaves you alone with them for as long as you need.

03

Feel the difference side by side

3D against 4D, S-track against L-track, the same program on two brands. Spec sheets stop mattering once your back is in the chair.

04

Go home and think about it

No pressure, no closing script. When you are ready, white-glove delivery brings it to the room of your choice and sets it up.

Before you sit down

How to actually test a massage chair

Most people sit in a chair for ninety seconds, decide it feels nice, and buy the wrong one. A massage chair reveals itself over a full program, not in the first minute. Here is what we tell people to do on our floor, whether or not they buy from us.

Run one full program, not four short ones

Programs build. The first few minutes are warm-up; the part that tells you whether you like the chair usually arrives around minute eight. Sitting in six chairs for two minutes each teaches you less than sitting in two chairs properly.

Check where the shoulder rollers land

This is the single most common fit problem. If the shoulder airbags sit on your neck or halfway down your back, the chair is the wrong size for you and no setting will fix it. Have someone look while you are in it.

Find out where the track stops

An L-track continues past your lower back and under the seat; an S-track stops at your tailbone. If glutes and hamstrings are part of why you are shopping, this decides the chair for you. Feel it, do not read it.

Listen to the motor

Every chair makes noise. Some make noise you stop hearing after a week and some make noise you notice every single session. You cannot judge this from a video, and it matters more in an open-plan room.

Try zero gravity twice

Once to see whether you like the recline and once to see whether you can get out of it comfortably. People who love zero gravity in the showroom occasionally discover they dislike the transition at home.

Put the same body part under two brands

The fastest way to understand 3D against 4D, or one brand's kneading against another's, is to run the same region back to back within a few minutes. Memory for pressure fades quickly.

Fit

Which chair suits which body

Fit is the part specification sheets get wrong most often. These are the four conversations we have most on the floor.

Taller users

Track length and footrest extension are what matter, not price. Several chairs that look identical on paper differ by inches where it counts. If you are over six feet, come in expecting to rule out chairs that looked perfect online.

Shorter users

The opposite problem and an underrated one: in an oversized chair the shoulder mechanism works above where your shoulders actually are. Compact models are not lesser chairs, they are correctly sized ones.

Lower back is the reason you are shopping

Pay attention to how far the rollers travel past your beltline and whether heat reaches that area. Thermal models such as the Ceragem Master series take a completely different approach from roller chairs, and trying both in one visit usually settles the question quickly.

Getting in and out matters

If standing up from a deep recliner is difficult, look at the Daiwa iLift, which is a lift-assist recliner and a full L-track massage chair in one frame. It is the model people come in for something else and leave having tried.

Massage chairs near you

Massage chairs near you in the South Bay

The showroom sits at the corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Saratoga Avenue in San Jose, which puts it within an easy drive of most of the South Bay. Santa Clara, Cupertino, Campbell, Saratoga and Sunnyvale are all close by, and Los Gatos, Milpitas, Mountain View, Palo Alto and Fremont are a straightforward run down the freeway.

It is also the practical answer to searching for massage chairs near me and finding mostly catalogues. There are not many massage chair stores in Silicon Valley where five brands sit on one floor, plugged in, with nobody standing over you.

Most massage chair retailers near San Jose carry a single manufacturer, which means comparing brands turns into driving between showrooms on different days. Parking is on site and there is no appointment required. If you want a specialist to yourself for the whole visit, calling ahead guarantees it, but walking in works any day of the week.

Questions

Visiting the showroom.

Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?

No. Walk-ins are welcome every day we are open. Booking ahead is worth it only if you want a specialist dedicated to you for the full visit, which helps when several people are choosing together.

Where can I find massage chairs near me in the Bay Area?

If you are in the South Bay, here: 335 Saratoga Ave, Suite 10, San Jose, at the corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard. It is an easy drive from Santa Clara, Cupertino, Campbell, Saratoga and Sunnyvale, and a straightforward run down the freeway from Los Gatos, Milpitas, Mountain View, Palo Alto and Fremont. Every chair on the floor is plugged in and you can use them without an appointment.

Are there massage chair stores in San Jose that carry more than one brand?

That is the gap we exist to fill. Most massage chair retailers carry a single manufacturer, so comparing brands means driving between showrooms on different days. We are an authorized dealer for BodyFriend, Infinity, Kyota, Ceragem and Daiwa, and all five sit on one floor, which means you can put the same body part under two brands within a few minutes.

Is there a massage chair store near San Jose where I can try before buying?

Ours is on Saratoga Avenue at Stevens Creek, three minutes from Santana Row and Westfield Valley Fair. Every chair on the floor is plugged in and ready to use, and trying them costs nothing whether or not you buy.

How long should I set aside for a visit?

Thirty to sixty minutes. That is long enough to run a full program on two or three chairs, which is what it actually takes to tell them apart. Coming in for ten minutes tends to produce a decision you revisit later.

Which brands can I try in person?

BodyFriend, Infinity, Kyota, Ceragem and Daiwa, all on one floor. We are an authorized dealer for each, so the chair you sit in is the chair you get: brand new, full manufacturer warranty, genuine parts and authorized service.

Can I bring my family?

Please do, and bring whoever will actually be using the chair. Fit is personal, and a chair that suits one person in a household can be wrong for another. It is the main reason we keep the floor open rather than appointment-only.

Is there any pressure to buy on the day?

No. There is no closing script and no same-day discount that disappears when you leave. Most people who buy from us come back a second time, which is how we prefer it on a purchase this size.

What happens after I choose a chair?

White-glove delivery brings it to the room of your choice across the continental US, assembles and positions it, tests it and removes all the packaging. Financing is available through lending partners, subject to approval.

Do you deliver outside the Bay Area?

Yes. White-glove delivery covers the continental US. The showroom exists so you can make the decision in person; where the chair ends up is a separate question.

What are your showroom hours?

We are open seven days a week. Current hours are listed at the top of this page and mirror our Google Business Profile exactly, so what you see here is what you will find when you arrive.

Come sit down.

Bring whoever will be using the chair. Wear something you can relax in. Everything else we handle.
